It was such a pleasure to meet some of the Ifac Ireland team yesterday for a workshop on “Interview Skills for Hiring Managers”.

September 4, 2024Lorraine

It was such a pleasure to meet some of the Ifac Ireland team yesterday for a workshop on “Interview Skills for Hiring Managers”. ifac is a top 10 financial services and advisory firm with offices across the country and over 400 employees, with a strong focus on the farming, food, and agribusiness sectors.

What struck me as unique about ifac is that they are large enough to offer the career progression opportunities of a big city practice, yet they maintain the personal touch of a local practice due to their wide reach across 27 offices, from West Cork to Donegal. ifac has a strong community focus, and part of this ethos is providing employment opportunities in regional locations. In their own words: “At ifac, we know that talent doesn’t have a postcode, and a postcode doesn’t mean talent. We firmly believe that if you have the ambition and ability to achieve big things, you can do it anywhere. You shouldn’t have to leave the place you love to leave your mark.”

If you would like to check out current job opportunities at ifac please visit https://lnkd.in/eyDHVGT2

ifac is also currently recruiting for their excellent 2025 graduate programme: https://lnkd.in/ejAcHBDN

Thank you so much Lauren Brennan for all of your help in organising this workshop. It was great to meet the progressive and forward thinking HR Team and Commercial Managers also!

Previous post As we reach the end of the 2024 University of Limerick “Navigate – Researchers Beyond Academia” career development programme, I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to get to know a motivated, talented, and extremely hard-working group of postdoctoral researchers at UL. Next post Delighted to have had the opportunity to work on a Career Support programme with a talented group of 4th-year PhD students in Data Science from UL, UCD, and Maynooth University over the past few weeks
