It was an absolute pleasure to meet participants of the Nasc RiseUp programme yesterday. RiseUp is a three-year employability programme delivered by Nasc.

During our Job Search Success workshop, we explored strengths and skills identification, as well as the practicalities of searching for a job in Ireland, including job search platforms, understanding job advertisements, working with recruitment agencies, LinkedIn, building a professional network and following up on applications.

Participants came from a broad range of professional backgrounds and I was incredibly impressed by their skills, motivation, resilience and support for one another.

A huge thank you to Viktoriia Zhavoronkova for organising this workshop as part of the RiseUp programme. I’m looking forward to returning in October to deliver our next workshop on CV and Interview Success.

Today was a great opportunity for our RiseUp participants to focus on their career development and job search skills.
Nasc hosted a Job Search Success Workshop, delivered by Lorraine Shine, trainer from Career and Interview Success.
The session was filled with practical advice, useful insights, open discussion, and encouragement, giving participants valuable tools to support their journey towards employment.
A big thank you to Lorraine for sharing her expertise and creating such a welcoming and supportive space for our participants.
