With a background in recruitment, human resources, and training, I have worked across Ireland, Germany, Luxembourg, and Australia. My passion for professional coaching and training emerged from a desire to empower others to help themselves. After 18 years in the recruitment industry, I became a certified professional coach in 2009 and founded Career and Interview Success in 2019. My mission is to support individuals in achieving greater fulfilment in their careers and professional lives.
As a Career Development Trainer and Programme Facilitator I design and deliver the following programmes:
- Corporate training workshops:
I conduct workshops on topics such as “Interviewer Skills,” “Interviewee Skills,” “Interviewee Skills for Internal Interviews,” “CV Success,” and a range of career development themes. Provide regular Interviewer Training workshops for hiring managers in the private, public, and semi-state sectors. I am a core trainer for ESB (Ireland’s largest energy company) delivering Interviewer Skills for Interview Panels and Internal Interviewee Skills training for the last 6 years on behalf of RSM Ireland.
- Higher Education/ University Programme Delivery:
Provide training and coaching support to third-level institutions, delivering career development programmes that assist PhD and post-doctoral researchers in transitioning from academia to industry. - Career Returner Programmes:
~ Partnered with UCC on the award-winning “Rejuvenate” programme in 2021, 2022, and 2023. This programme, which won the IITD Best Diversity and Inclusion Award, supports professional women returning to the workplace after a career break.
~ Delivered workshops and one-to-one sessions for career returner programmes in partnership with The Ludgate Hub in 2022 and 2023, supporting women in West Cork returning to the workforce. These programmes were sponsored by Rethink Ireland and the Cork Education and Training Board.
- Outplacement/ redundancy support programmes:
Supporting employees across a range of sectors with Outplacement programmes – delivered online and in person.
As a Career Coach, I support individual clients with the following:
Career management support ranging from Career Direction, Career Transition, and Career Development Coaching to CV reviews and tailoring, Job Search Strategies, LinkedIn optimization for job search, and Interview Skills coaching.
