It was great to be back with Nasc, the Migrant & Refugee Rights Centre in Cork for our CV and Interview Success workshop. We covered many topics including the key areas to consider when tailoring a CV to a specific job opportunity and preparing for interviews. One point that really resonated with the group was the importance of providing context about previous employers when applying for jobs in Ireland after moving from another country. This can help recruiters and employers better understand the scale, sector and relevance of a candidates experience.

There was a wealth of skills, experience and talent within the group, and I hope the workshop will help participants approach the Irish employment market with greater confidence.
