Having enjoyed an extensive career in recruitment for the last 18 years I have developed training programmes aimed at talent acquisition professionals and recruiters. Recruitment as a career allowed me to gain both international and domestic experience within the industry. I started out in recruitment in an in-house role with EMBL (European Molecular Biology Research Labs) in Germany and subsequently spent 3 years working in financial services and funds recruitment in Luxembourg. From there I spent time recruiting in Sydney and finally back in Ireland where I started up a financial services recruitment company in Dublin. I subsequently worked as a Training Manager where I trained groups of new graduates to become fully operational recruiters within short time frames. My most recent recruitment role was as Recruitment Account Manager/ Account Director where I managed a number of large multi-national clients and obtained number 1 preferred supplier rating with one of the top global employers in Ireland for four consecutive quarters.
