May 24, 2024Lorraine

I was delighted to meet some of the impressive Coffey Group team in Athenry, Co Galway this week. We had a very productive and interactive workshop on “Interview Skills for Hiring Managers,” where we explored effective interviewing techniques within the fast-paced and competitive civil engineering and construction hiring market.

Coffey recently secured overall 5th position and was recognized as the leading construction company in the prestigious “150 Best Employers in Ireland” survey by the Sunday Independent/Statista 2024. Having met with some of the team, I can see why Coffey earned this award for their positive and engaging work environment. One standout initiative is the innovative ‘Unlimited@Coffey’ program, which celebrates and supports women in the engineering and construction sectors, driving a more balanced and equitable industry.

Thank you so much to Fiona Flaherty and Aileen O’Boyle NRF Cert RP from HR and Talent Acquisition and also to Anika Parmar and Caroline Conaghan, for all of your support and for making me feel so welcome.
